Pink Bird Tree Painting

Just finished this new Pink Bird Tree Painting the varnish is still drying! I have listed it in my Etsy shop. It's very pretty and girly with some whimsical rather long legged birds!
I have been trying to get more original paintings done lately but find it hard to find the time! I wish I had the opportunity to paint every day but it's more like once or twice a week if I am lucky! Sometimes balancing home life, motherhood and my art is a real juggle but I am blessed to do something I love for a living!

Horse Dreamer Fairytale Painting on Wood

Horse Dreamer New Original Painting on wood just finished yesterday! I was nervous doing this one because I loved the sketch and was worried that once painted I would not like it as much but I love the colours and I am happy with the final result. The original is available in my etsy shop!
Other than that the weather here has turned cold and I miss the sun! We have planted tomatoes, strawberries, aubergines, courgettes, a raspberry bush, an apple tree and a plum tree! So I am hoping for the sun to return soon!

New Original Tree Collage Painting - Indigo Tree

I have been a busy this week and have finished another original collage painting. This one is called Indigo Tree it is available to buy in my etsy shop!! I love this one and enjoyed working with a lighter background for a change. I think I will do more like this in the future! The light background looks great with the very bright flowers! It makes me think of sunshine and sunny days! Can't wait for winter to end!

New Fairy Collage Painting!

Here is my newest painting just finished it yesterday. The title is Forest Fairy, the original has been sold but it will be available as a mounted print on wood or as a paper print in my etsy shop. It was quite a challenge painting the fawn, the rabbit and the owl but I'm pleased with the end result.
I am now so fed up with winter and the cold and grey weather! I cannot wait for Spring and I am so looking forward to Summer and growing lots of flowers, fruits and vegetables!!!

New Fairy Painting - Scarlet

I'm very excited about this new painting, it was done on paper and I am going to hold on to the original for now. I first sketched the fairy and the flowers and trees on paper and then I was going to transfer them onto wood as I would normally do but I decided to just go ahead and paint them on the paper. Well I ended up painting and adding detail until 2am in the morning not being able to stop! I'm really pleased with her, she is available as a print mounted on wood in my etsy shop! I have named her Scarlet!

Custom Couple Painting

I have just finished the last of a series of four paintings I did for a family in Newport Beach.
This one is of the couple on their own. I decided to go for a romantic evening setting!

New brother and sister custom painting!

Here is a new custom painting I have just finished today. It's of a brother and sister from the same family I did a large painting of.
I have quite a few custom paintings to be done but I am finding it it hard to find the time to fit them in.
The children are only at school for a few hours and often come home from school to a house covered in paint and bits of paper sprawled everywhere and I often turn up at school covered in paint and glue because I have left it to the last minute to leave the house!!!
