Sisters Fairy Painting

Here is the new custom fairy sisters painting I have been working on all week.

It's for a lady in America who has three children already and is adopting a little Ethiopian girl. One of her daughters is going to share a room with her new adoptive sister and she wanted a painting depicting their relationship.
I have loved doing this painting and very much admire what this lady is doing.

It is based on the idea of having to sometimes let go of the things we love in the hope that they will come back to us of their own free will.

Friends are magical Painting

This is a commissioned painting I did at the end of January for a lady in London.
It was for her friends birthday and she wanted it to reflect their friendship.
I was really pleased with how it turned out.

Let's start at the beginning - My Childhood

I was born in France in 1973 the third of three girls, two years later I was to become the proud older sister to my younger brother.

My childhood was a very happy one filled with happy memories of freedom, exploring nature, searching for four leaf clover and horse riding!!! Those memories I'm sure are what influences my art today.

I thought you might like to look at these old photographs of my family.

Old photographs hold so many precious memories and are one of my favourite things to look at!
